Psychiatry rooted in relationship
My work is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when we understand the patterns beneath the symptoms: the relational histories, the emotional habits, the ways early experience shapes how we move through the world today.
I offer unhurried, intentional care that brings medication management and psychotherapy together in one relationship. The goal isn't a quick fix. It's genuine understanding.

Lauren Manning, MD
I'm a psychiatrist practicing in Seal Harbor on Mount Desert Island. I'm board-certified in general and child and adolescent psychiatry, and I work with individuals, families, and people who want to do concentrated work through my intensive program.
My approach is relational and insight-oriented. I believe the therapeutic relationship is itself part of what heals.
