GETTING STARTED

Is this the right fit?

Finding the right psychiatrist takes time, and I want to make that process as straightforward as possible. This page covers who I work with, how the practice operates, and what it costs, so that you can get a clear sense of whether this might be a good fit before reaching out.

Who I work with

I work with individuals, parents, and families navigating a wide range of concerns. People who find their way here are often thoughtful and self-aware and they want to understand what's going on beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms.

I offer therapy, medication management, or both, depending on what's most useful for you.

Areas of focus

  • Anxiety, panic, and chronic worry

  • Depression and mood changes

  • OCD and repetitive thoughts or behaviors

  • Trauma and complex PTSD

  • Life transitions and identity concerns

  • Parenting stress and disconnection

  • Complicated psychiatric histories and overmedication

  • Self-doubt, perfectionism, and feeling stuck

A note on fit: my practice is built around an ongoing therapeutic relationship, not medication management alone. Many people are well served by a psychiatrist who focuses primarily on prescribing but it isn't the model I practice. If you're looking for that kind of support, I'm happy to help connect you with someone who might be a better match.

The office

The practice is located at 16 Main Street in Seal Harbor. Free street parking is available directly in front of the building.

The office is a private suite with its own entrance. Sessions take place in a quiet, comfortable room with natural light and access to an outdoor deck. When you arrive, please feel free to help yourself to a cup of tea and have a seat in the waiting room.

Secure telehealth is available for established patients when in-person visits aren't possible.

Fees

Wildwell Psychiatry is a private pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly, but I provide a superbill after each visit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I also contract with Reimbursify if you'd like assistance filing claims on your behalf.

A reduced fee is available on a limited basis for those with demonstrated financial need. If this is relevant to you, please mention it in your inquiry.

Join the interest list

At times my practice is full and I am unable to accept new patients right away. If you feel my approach to care may be a particularly good fit for you, you're welcome to join the interest list by completing the form below. The interest list is intended for individuals and families seeking ongoing psychiatric care who are comfortable waiting for availability.

When space opens, I review the list and reach out selectively based on clinical fit and current availability.
